This tutorial was really helpful in showing how to track a range of blogs related to personal interest or studies. It could be really helpful to follow news events and the weather which is always of interest.

Number 7 - Technology

People say they are 'computer illiterate' and I can relate to that whole-heartedly. These tasks for web 2.0 are great fun and a challenge in trying new skills with computer manipulation. But, when I think about the everyday work-day use of computers I realise how much we rely on a lot of technology just to do our tasks at work. Reference enquiries and customer service, to look at the broad picture, would be extremely difficult and time-consuming without computer technology. Not to mention the 'fun' use of technology at home with CD and DVD - but that's another story. But, between you and me, I still miss sorting needles.

Number 6 - Flickr Trading Card

Trading cards look very inviting as inventive magazine covers, birthday cards, invitations and for a range of library promotions. It was fairly easy to use.

Number 5 - Flickr

Flickr's choice of photos was huge, so sunrise represents the dawn of a new day - one perfect day in fact.
